Rendena breed heifers

Fifteenth appointment with the traditional end-of-summer event, Giovenche di Razza Rendena is an event that invites you to rediscover and relive the peasant roots of the Rendena population.

During this week of celebration dedicated to the Rendena breed, the only native bovine breed in Trentino, various activities will be organized to entertain adults and children. To close the event there will then be the folkloristic "Walk of the Heifers" in which representatives of over 30 farms from Val Rendena will take part who will walk with their cows through the streets of the town of Pinzolo and subsequently the election of the "Queen" , or the best heifer among over 150 candidates.

Giovenche di Razza Rendena is a unique opportunity to come into contact with the historical identity of the Territory, discover the ancient peasant traditions and celebrate the commitment of the various local farms that are committed to safeguarding and enhancing the Razza Rendena and its Territory.
