Val Rendena is the heart of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park, an extraordinary mosaic of biodiversity. The territory boasts over a hundred specimens of wild fauna and flora and a geological peculiarity unique in itself: towards the west it extends over the Adamello-Presanella massif, kingdom of water, of grandiose glaciers, impetuous torrents, spectacular waterfalls and dozens of enchanted lakes while to the east it winds through the spectacular Brenta Dolomites, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, in a succession of spiers, towers and immense overhanging walls

Its geological-naturalistic characteristics make the area a natural gym for the practice of summer and winter outdoor activities, for athletes or families:

Trekking through the Brenta Dolomites

Through the Brenta Dolomites the paths reach the most famous refuges (Rifugio Graffer, Rifugio Tuckett e Sella, Rifugio Brentei, Rifugio Alimonta, Rifugio Casinei, Rifugio XII Apostoli), at the foot of peaks and majestic spiers: you can start either from the valley floor or directly at altitude, thanks to the ski lifts that allow you to comfortably overcome significant differences in height. Or again, for those looking for more intimate places, Val Brenta and Valagola are the perfect destinations. Recently inaugurated, the new Dolomiti di Brenta Trek is also waiting to be discovered, a double ring circuit around the Brenta Dolomites for trekking enthusiasts.

Trekking on the Adamello-Presanella side

On the Adamello and Presanella sides, the woods and waters reign supreme. The numerous routes enter the woods until reaching characteristic refuges and small alpine lakes (S. Giuliano lakes, Ritorto lake, Nambino lake, Cornisello lakes) set in unique, almost lunar landscapes; or they cross the wildest valleys of the area, such as Val Genova and Val Nambrone.

Trekking for everyone

Everyone can therefore go trekking in the Dolomites and walk in the mountains, from families with children to young people, to couples, thanks to the services that Madonna di Campiglio Pinzolo and Val Rendena offer: refuges and restaurants at high altitude, ski lifts, a mobility system alternative that allows you not to use your car, and mountain guides, who offer all the safety of professionals. Look at the prices of the ski lifts and the operating times of the Madonna di Campiglio cable cars and the Pinzolo Spa cable cars to get to the heights effortlessly!

Before leaving for your excursions at high altitude, plan your outing carefully and, if you tackle a route classified as having high technical difficulty or if you are a beginner, rely on an Alpine Guide or a Medium Mountain Guide. We also suggest that you contact the refuge manager in the area you will visit to be updated on the feasibility of the route and the weather conditions.

Summer 2023 involves renewed and shared mobility management in some of the valleys with the greatest tourist influx in our territory. The system project was developed by the Adamello Brenta Natural Park, with the support of the Tourism Company and the sharing of the Municipalities and civic bodies that own the territory.
